Dear Raymondites

We are very happy to release the Corporate Learning Strategy for the year July
2009- June 2010. Every year the Corporate Learning Plan will run July-June cycle
, so that all Learning needs data that come to us through appraisals , and othe
r discussions are well incorporated into the Plan.
When the going gets Tough ..the tough gets going I am sure we have all heard this s
tatement umpteen times but I invite you to consider this thought a little deeply
and think about - what gets tough people going ? . Their mental and emotional c
apabilities, their knowledge , their ability to draw upon their experiences & le
arning s and last but most importantly, their ability to leverage themselves bett
er. However this is not an automatic process and those who invest in themselves
and their people are certainly able to accomplish a lot more than others, espec
ially in trying times.
The Corporate Learning team along with the Business Heads and HR heads of all bu
siness have worked out a plan for the year which we believe will take the Learni
ng quotient in the organization a few notches higher. However a plan will remain
only a noble intent, until it is well executed. We need each one of you to p
articipate in this process actively . As managers and individual contributors w
e all have responsibility towards ourselves and our teams . We urge you to own
this responsibility fully and partner with the organization to sustain and enhan
ce our skill and capability level, in order to be competitive at all times.
You can deliver on this responsibility by ensuring that you participate in progr
ams you have been nominated for, that your team members are nominated for the a
ppropriate programs and that they take time out to attend it , make sure we imp
lement the learning s and create an environment where learning and growth in activ
ely sought and encouraged.
The Corporate Learning Team along with your Business head & HR teams will suppo
rt you all the way in this journey . Please read through the attached Learning S
