Definition – Anticipation and Timing

Anticipation is our ability to predict whether an event will occur. Timing is the regulation of occurrence, pace,
or coordination to achieve a desired effect.

Definition – Body Control and Awareness

Body control combines the awareness of bodily movement and co-ordination to form the foundation for many
physical activities that involve moving the body.

Definition – Object Manipulation and Control

Consists of handling a particular object during Physical Activity in such a manner to produce maximum effect
e.g. shooting a goal in netball.

Definition – Technique

Technique is a particular way or specific method of performing skills using equipment or the body to achieve a
goal e.g. styles of throwing a discus.
