Requirement for PLC

Digital Inputs:

On Command FOR STARTERS: For each motor (from local push button station)

Off Command FOR STARTERS: For each motor (from local push button station)

Fault signals: From each conveyor

1) Zero speed

2) Pull chord switch

3) For SC-5 conveyor only Temperature Over limit.

Total No of Conveyors:

1) Bc-13-11 KW-11m

2) BC-14-30 KW-78m

3) BC-15-15 KW-70m

4) BC-16-15 KW -70m

5) BC-17-37 KW-103m

6) SC-5-55 KW-22m

Upto 30 kW for starting purpose using a DOL Starter.

30 KW and above for starting using a star delta starter. For BC-16 & SC-5 for
starting using IP42 class drive and starter by pass arrangement.

PULL CORD SWITCH:

Sensors are 240V AC operated.Contacts is 240V AC.

Each 15m once the pull chord switch will be fixed in both sides.

For BC-13-2 pull chord switch.

For BC-14-10 pull chord switch.

For BC-15-8 pull chord switch.

For BC-16-8 pull chord switch.

For BC-17-4 pull chord switch.

For SC-5-2 pull chord switch.

ZERO SPEED SWITCH:

Sensors are 240V AC operated.Contacts is 240V AC.

For BC-13-1 zero speed switch.

For BC-14-1 zero speed switch.

For BC-15-1 zero speed switch.

For BC-16-1 zero speed switch.

For BC-17-1 zero speed switch.

For SC-5-1 zero speed switch.

EMERGENCY SWITCH:

For each Conveyor having individual emergency switch.

For BC-16 AND SC-5 using a logical operation to avoid operates the VFD and starter
at a same time.

Before starting the motor should monitor the MCCB healthy condition.

IF any fault (pull cord, zero speed, emergency, temp fault) is occurs based on this
the motor should off.

The local & Field selector switch input for operates the motor from MCC and from
field also.
