THE ORGANIZATION
MJ CONSULTING SERVICES (MJCS) is an independent consulting firm specializing in the fields of environmental and engineering (safety, health,
civil and electrical) works. Its founder and lead consultant Dr. Mario B. Sumalinog is its director.

MJ CONSULTING SERVICES is a DTI-registered consulting firm, licensed to practice and is based in Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines with an
extension office in Cebu City.

MJ CONSULTING SERVICES is composed of the following regular and on-call consultants in various fields:

THE EXPERIENCE

• MJCONSULTINGSERVICES (MJCS)’ founder and lead consultant, Dr. Mario B. Sumalinog, is a registered
civil and electrical engineer by profession and had been practicing for the past 20 years. Dr. Mario B.
Sumalinog used to be the Corporate Senior Manager of the Safety and Environmental Group of Cagayan
Electric Power & Light Co before his retirement in 2003. Dr. Mario B. Sumalinog is a DENR/EMB-
accredited Pollution Control Officer, an Environment Professional (EIS Preparer) and Accredited Safety
Practitioner.

• Mrs. Jazmine R. Sumalinog is an experienced Financial Consultant and is a registered Certified Public
Accountant, Realtor and Appraiser.

• Mr. Gualberto S. Daňo had been an Administrative Officer for more than 20 years.

• Arch. Cyrus Q. Daňo, Ms. Joanna Mae R. Sumalinog, and Engr. Mario Jose R. Sumalinog II are equally
qualified young associate consultants in their respective fields.

• There are also on-call consultants in the fields of ecology, biology,


sociology, geology, etc.
