Shakti (with Gold now costing Rs 27 per litre and Shakti Rs 25 per litre, the Sumul dairy
board will decide on the increase of its Amul Taaza (common man's milk) price after
discussion.

• farmers in the district have increased the cost of milk from Rs 2.75 to Rs 2.85 due to inflation, nearly a
week ago. GCMMF also increased the cost of four milk variants in the first week of this month. Now, we
are forced to increase the price.”
• Baroda Dairy had produced 4,50,000 litres of milk last December, which has come down to 3,20,000 litres
this May.
• The production of milk went down by an average of lakh litre per day, which has forced the Baroda dairy to
buy about 1-1.20 litres of milk daily from GCMMF, Mathur added.
