Background of Study

To increase the zakat collection there many aspect that need to be consider in
achieving the zakat collection target such as the the external factor and internal
factor. To achieve the target of collection there need a strategic planning
especially in marketing strategy to attract more people to pay the obligation of
zakat. In this research, the researcher will limit the scope of study on the
marketing strategy used by UNIT DAKWAH to increase the zakat collection on
income and number of payers in the area of Wilayah Perseketuan as the role of
PPZ-MAIWP to collect the zakat. The marketing planning and strategy is very
important to increase the number of zakat payers in order to increase the amount
of collection.
 Firstly, in this research, the researcher want to find out what is the function
and the objective of Unit Dakwah, marketing strategy approach used by this
Unit to achieve the target that has been fixed by the operation manager.
 What is the objective of target.
 Besides that, the researcher want to identify what is the factors that need to
be consider in achieving the target.
 The challenges, contraints to achieve the goals. On the other hand, what is
the task need to be done to carry out zakat collection on income.
