A tsunami is a series of waves that get stronger in every wave.

They can also happen in large lakes. Many people think that tsunamis are tidal waves. Actually there not tidal waves because tidal waves are much smaller.

Tsunamis are caused by underwater natural disasters. Like

Under water landslides, volcanoes or under water earthquakes.

Volcanoes can make tsunamis because the explosions can make

a very big wave. Earthquakes can make a tsunami because all the vibration makes many big waves. Landslides can make a tsunami because all the vibration.

Tsunamis can wreak harbors and cities. They can also destroy

forests and grasslands. Many houses are destroyed.

They kill small animals and bugs.
