Getting a Bloomberg Login:

Go to the Bloomberg terminal in the lobby of the Economics Department office (PH300).

Click on the green Bloomberg icon on the desktop


Type: HELP and press the green GO button (enter key)
Follow the on-screen instructions

Note: you will have to speak with Bloomberg Customer service during this process to validate
your user name and id so please have a cell phone with you or return the call within 3 days in
order to validate your login.

Extra Credit
I am offering extra credit to anyone who chooses to take and pass (with at least a 70%), the first
3 introductory Bloomberg certification exams. It takes 8 exams to gain Bloomberg certification
which is a terrific resume builder for anyone looking for a career in finance.

In order to pass the exams, you must watch the video classes on the Bloomberg Terminal:

If you choose to pursue Bloomberg cortication, upon completing the first 3 introductory exams,
you must choose either the Fixed Income or Equity track and pass the 5 exams. You may
replace any of the courses with an elective.
