I am black

I am white I can be carried

I can stand on two legs or four
I am soft or hard to the ear
I am hip or jazzy sometimes just classic
I can be peddled or traveled
sit on or played inside
I can be accompanied or soloed
I am grand and small
I can be stretched to an octave
or reduced to a flat. Often I can fall
flat on my face. I am song to
adored and pretty and can be shut
I love to be tickled and can be a crescendo
I'm all these things
I'm a piano and proud.
