Spring Arbor University and the new Student Center

Spring Arbor, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University president Dr. Charles Webb

just recently announced the expansion of the student center building on Spring Arbor

University’s main campus. The progress of the renovations will begin on September 1,

2011.

In producing a new student center the amount of space for students to eat in the

Dining Commons will increase as well as a place for the students to hang out and play

some games while enjoying the company of their friends.

The funding for the building is still in progress, but the estimated date of a full

budgeted amount will be the end of July so that the building progress will begin. Dr.

Charles Webb briefly described the meaning behind the expansion.

“Students need to know that they are cared for and thought about, and in

expanding the student center the students will know that even though the student body

has been expanding and there seems to be little room, we as a board and staff of a

fantastic university recognize the need for more space.”
