GUIDELINES FOR UNIVERSITY PRACTICAL EXAMINATIONS

IN
PHYSICS & CHEMISTRY LAB

1. Students should earn minimum 75% attendance separately in both physics

laboratory and chemistry laboratory to be eligible to appear for physics and chemistry
laboratory terminal examinations.

2. Physics and chemistry laboratory terminal examinations should be conducted

separately each for 3 hours duration.

3. If a student is absent for either one of physics or chemistry laboratory terminal

examination, he is deemed to have been failed in physics and chemistry laboratory.

4. The internal and external marks and the passing minimum for the physics and
chemistry laboratory are as given in the table below.

5. Students should secure minimum passing marks in both physics laboratory and
chemistry laboratory for a pass in the physics and chemistry laboratory.
