He wasn’t ready to let her go,

She wasn’t ready to leave,

Hearts piled high with wishes,

Most they will never receive,

They were fools in love,

Stalked by emotion,

Fear took over their world,

They didn’t realise they were falling,

Faster and faster,

Until their world was black,

And whilst their eyes were blind,

Their hearts came under attack...

Who knew one day,

they would wake up,

To find out themselves,

They would one day have luck,

They would have ran miles,

Or cross blinding hot sands,

Just to feel the touch,

Of one another’s hands...
