This course analizes the content of the primary music education
syllabus leading to the preparation of the yearly, weekly and daily
teaching and learning plan for the teaching of music. Students are
encouraged to integrate musical elements in the music class in a
varied manner in order to bring about effective teaching and
learning. Students synthesize their theoretical knowledge of
methods in the planning of activities. Students cooperate with their
course mates in the planning and carrying out of their micro and
macro training sessions. Besides that students apply different
criteria and methods in the evaluation of musical skills of students
in the primary school such as singing , the playing of recorder and
percussion instruments, aural sensitivity and movement to music.
