I chose the back bending sequence that begins with Cobra.

This Floor series was a

very relaxing way of stretching your back. First you start off with the cobra of

course, the cobra pose is simply performed by laying on the floor facing it at the

same time with your forehead on the floor as well, then using the support of your

arms and hands to bend your back as much as possible and by lifting up your head

and repeating this with three different techniques that vary. The locust is the one

that follows the cobra, it is performed by laying on your side at first and joining

both of your firsts together then rolling again to the other side so that you’re

facing down, and you slowly raise both of your legs at different times. The locust

helps you stretch your back as well as any other activities in this floor series. The

bow is similar and performed by using the knees then it is followed by child’s pose

and the half spinal twist. I chose this floor series because I play soccer a lot and

my back hurts sometimes, so by performing this type of yoga, I’m able to feel

better and more relaxed.
