Sub: out of syllabus Questions in MBA-1 st semester exam (Computer application in management)

Respected Sir,

With due regards I wish to state that I am presently pursuing my MBA in L.R. Institute, Solan (H.P.) which
is affiliated to HPU, Summer Hill Shimla(HP).

The 1st semester examination held in December 2010 had a paper named Computer application in
Management. However, in unit-2 of the paper which should have normally covered the topic Logic
Development, The question asked were not a part of the prescribed topic. Those questions were out of
syllabus. This mistake on the part of the paper setter caused a lot of inconvenience to the student and
would make them lose precious marks. Thus, their academic result would suffer. Moreover, both the
question of the unit was out of syllabus. Thus making it impossible for the students to attempt that unit
altogether.

I request you to kindly look into the matter and award grace marks for this mistake on the part of the
university. The unit carried 12 marks which is quite a number in this era of stiff competition.
