“I don't think homosexuality is a choice.

Society forces you to think it's a choice, but in fact, it's in one's
nature. The choice is whether one expresses one's nature truthfully or spends the rest of one's life lying
about it.”

WHO DOESN’T LOVE BARBIE!? Because I know I do! Barbie has gone through a lot with the messages
she sends to kids about sexuality and gender roles, but 1993 they introduce Earring Magic Ken, Ken
went from his dark brown hair and black suits to a mesh purple t-shirt and lavender vest with necklace
and on earring on the left. Ken went from “sophisticated Ken” to “Gay Ken” and parents were not happy
with his fashion style. Long story short Mattel discontinued the production and recalled the Ken doll.

I WANT THIS “Gay Ken” Obviously the reason why this happen was because of the appearance of Ken.
Looking at the picture of Earring Magic Ken, some may say that he does look prettier than usual. On
doing the research on this Earring Magic Ken, it seems a lot of parents were very unhappy with the way
Ken look and most of the articles I read seems to pointing Ken new look was gay.

From my opinion looking closely at Ken’s outfit, it reflects a lot with the pop culture during that time.
With how big MTV was and even his outfits reminds of the rave wear, he kind of looks cool, not gay.
