INT. WORKPLACE - DAY

The lounge is dull and filthy. One grime-covered light

flickers on and off. The coffee machine is spilling
everywhere. A sleeping EMPLOYEE on the dirty table swats away
flies. An awkward faced office worker, MICHAEL (20) walks up
to a blue vending machine. He looks at it, sighs, and begins
to insert change into the machine.

NICK (20) appears next to the machine. His clothes are

eccentric and full of color.

NICK
You’re getting that cola?

Michael apathetically looks at Nick, standing at his side.

MICHAEL
...yeah.

Nick stares at Michael intently. Michael looks back with his

same apathetic expression.

Nick smiles, scoffs, and shakes his head. He swiftly grabs

Michael’s hand and inserts a Coca-Cola into it.

A party erupts in the workplace.

Someone in the crowd is pouring a 2 liter Coke bottle into

people’s cups.

The sleeping employee is wearing a party hat and holding a

Coke can, but is still sleeping. A disco ball on the table
fills the room with color.

Balloons are up, confetti is in the air, people cheer and

laugh as Michael and Nick eagerly watch them.

Michael swiftly holds up the can next to his face. He smiles

an awkward but humorous smile.

Nick throws his arm over Michael’s shoulder as they dance

their way into the crowd.

A stack of Coca-Cola boxes, bottle, and cans are neatly

placed on the sleeping employee’s table. Someone reached down
and grabs a can.

INT. WORKPLACE - LATER

The room has returned to it’s normal state. Another office

worker, PAUL (20) is inserting change into the same blue
vending machine.

Nick appears next to the machine again. He still has confetti

on his shoulders and in his hair.

NICK
You’re getting that cola?
