CONVENTIONAL HEAT DETECTOR:

Conventional heat detector is a device that responds to changes in ambient


temperature using a sensing element (thermistor), which produces a change in
electrical resistance in response to an increase in temperature. They are normally
used in environments where smoke detector might generate false alarms (for
example: kitchen). When the detector senses a rise in temperature, the line voltage
drops. The control panel senses the change in voltage and activates the alarm if the
temperature reaches threshold

The red LEDs are featured as indicators in the detector. In Alarm conditions the LEDs
glow continuously indicating that heat has been detected.
