Throughout researching front pages of music magazines, I noticed a lot of images of the famous artists were

medium close ups and looking directly into your eyes. All of the famous models were made to stand out, and
attract the audience. I wanted my model to look like a famous artist and therefore chose her to look classy. To
take the pictures I used various different angles to see which one would make her look the best. I wanted the
image to be mainly of her face but some of her body so I mainly used medium close ups, as I felt these were
the images that would stand out the most. For my front page I took lots of pictures to see which one would
look best. Here is a selection of some of the pictures I took. The ones with a red outline are my favourite
images, and I feel those images would look the best on my front page. For my front page I decided I wanted an
elegant looking model, so I decided to do the hair in a tight bun on top of the head, giving a dressy look. The
make-up was very simple with smoky eyes, making them stand out. I wanted my model to be wearing a big
coat, emphasising the January edition. I took lots of pictures of my model wearing this outfit, but then decided
to choose a different outfit just to make sure this was what I wanted.

Here are my four favourite pictures. I really like the idea of the winter coat, as it matches the January edition,
and also emphasises the main story. On the front page I am going to have ‘behind the life of Lacey T’ as my
main story line, and the big coat makes it seem as if she is hiding behind the coat. Images one and two are my
favourite, as it looks like she is shy, matching the story line.

Looking at images one and two I have decided to use the second image. I like this image as she looks shy and
as if shes hiding away behind the coat. The model is giving us direct eye contact, making us feel connected
with her. Her skin looks very clear, and I feel the make up looks simple and classy.
