YOU, THE END OF USER, SHALL USE THIS SOFTWARE ("THE SOFTWARE")
ACCORDING TO THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT. BY LOADING THE SOFTWARE

1.Microsoft Corporation("Microsoft") and Ricoh Co., Ltd.("Ricoh")
retain all right, title and interest in and to the Software and
its copies.
2.Ricoh grants you the non-exclusive right to use the Software with
the printers listed in the "SUPPORTED MODELS" below.
3.THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED AS IS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND.
4.IN NO EVENT SHALL MICROSOFT, RICOH, OR ITS LICENSORS BE LIABLE
FOR DAMEGES (INCLUDING ANY FOR LOSS OF INFORMATION, PROFITS,
SAVINGS OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION OR OTHER DIRECT, INDIRECT,
INCIDENTIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES) ARISING OUT OF
THE SOFTWARE OF THE USE THEREOF, OR THE INABILITY TO USE THE
SOFTWARE.
5.You acknowledge that the export of the Software is governed by
the export control laws of the United States, Japan, and other
countries. You agree to comply with all such export control laws.

- INSTALLATION
I. LOCAL PRINTER OR NETWORK PRINTER WITHOUT NETWORK CARD
1.Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Printers.
Double-click the Add Printer icon, and start Add Printer Wizard.
2.Select either "Local printer" or "Network printer" then click
"Next".
If you select "Local printer", select port by checking desired box
then click "Next". If you select "Network printer", select desired
network printer then click "Next".
3.Click "Have Disk". The Install From Disk dialog box is displayed.
In the Install From Disk dialog box, type the letter for the drive
which contains the installation diskette and click "OK".
The printer list is displayed, and then click your printer.
4.Click "Next" and follow the instructions of the Wizard.
When "Digital Signature Not Found" dialog box is displayed,
click "Yes", and continue the installation.
II.NETWORK PRINTER WITH NETWORK CARD
1.Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Printers.
Double-click the Add Printer icon, and start Add Printer Wizard.
2.Select "Local printer" then click "Next".
In the Select Printer Port dialog box, check "Create new port",
select "Standard TCP/IP Port", then click "Next", and start
Add Standard TCP/IP Printer Port Wizard.
3.Type IP address of your printer then click "Next".
Check "Custom" then click "Settings".
In the Configure Standard TCP/IP Port Monitor dialog box, check
"Raw" as Protocol, type "9100" or "10001"(**) in Port Number edit
box, and then click "OK".
And finish Add Standard TCP/IP Printer Port Wizard.
4.Click "Have Disk". The Install From Disk dialog box is displayed.
In the Install From Disk dialog box, type the letter for the drive
which contains the installation diskette and click "OK".
The printer list is displayed, and then click your printer.
5.Click "Next" and follow the instructions of the Wizard.
When "Digital Signature Not Found" dialog box is displayed,
click "Yes", and continue the installation.

- ABOUT AUTO-CONFIGURATION
In order to use the "Update Now" function for Automatic Configuration, the follo
wing conditions must be met:
-A "Standard TCP/IP port" must be used with the following settings:
Protocol -> Raw
SNMP status -> enabled
SNMP community name -> public
-MSXML 2.0 or later must be installed on your OS.
MSXML2.0 or later is included with Windows2000 OS or later.
If your PC does not have MSXML 2.0 or later, please download it
from the Microsoft web site.
The PCL mini drivers for Windows 2000/XP SP1/XP SP2/2003/Vista/2008 are all pack
aged together in one self-extracting file.
The self-extractor analyzes the system on which it is run to determine which OS
version of the PCL mini driver to extract.
After the extraction is complete, the mini driver can be installed from the ext
racted files.
If the files for another OS version of the PCL mini driver are needed, the file
"extract.bat" can be used to extract
the PCL mini driver version for the 3 other operating systems. Please look for "
extract.bat" in the folder that was first created
by the self-extractor.

Additional information
1. Setting limitation
Some devices do not support the use of settings such as duplex,
staple, punch and z-fold with custom paper sizes.
2. Additional Page Count in Duplex Printing
An extra page is added to the end of odd-paged duplex jobs.
The added page might be incremented in the printer's counter.
3. CMYK used for Black and White Documents
Black and White documents might be printed in full color (CMYK).
To ensure that the job prints using pure Black (K), please change
the color mode to "Black and White" or "Monochrome".
4. Watermark limitation
Watermarks are not supported with some combinations of operating
systems and drivers.
5. User Authentication limitation
User authentication settings in the Windows IA64 driver UI
(username, password, etc.) have no effect.
As a result, all Windows IA64 jobs are reset.
