Course  Description:  
English 269 provides a rhetorical framework for
engaging in the theory and practice of digital media
composing. Students will analyze and compose
digital media texts while studying complex forms
and practices of textual production.

10% WordPress Team Site
Your team will create a single WordPress site on which you will all be authors, contributing your major assignments and daily
work as well as commenting on each other’s work.

20% Digital Story


You’ll create a digital story told through images and audio, edited in iMovie.

20% Declamation & Video Recording


Brief presentation on a subject about which you’re passionate, a subject you’d like to share your passion for with the class
(10%). You’ll videotape the presentation and edit it into a final product (10%).

30% Video Documentary


In your team, you’ll create a single long documentary or a series of shorter, linked documentaries, as the capstone project for
the course.

10% Quizzes and Reflections


Regular quizzes on both the readings and technology for the class.
