INSTALLATION MANUAL FOR REFURBISHED AND NEW VMU 

VMUs will be having Active SIM cards and loading with new F/W and VMU ID is also set. So only 
physical installation is required. 

A) Mounting of Combo antenna. Combo Antenna houses both GPS and GSM antenna within same 
box. The Combo antenna is covered with a separate dome cover for additional protection.  
B) Screw mounting with double NUTs  to prevent loosening of screw due to vibration. 
C) The Antenna cable should not be exposed outside the cabin.   
D) You have to make 3 holes – 2 for box mounting and one for pulling cable within the cabin.
