POINT I/O DeviceNet Adapter

Configuration Software

(Cat. No. 1734-ADN)

Use this document to install:
• RSLinx™, Version 2.20, Service Pack 1
• RSNetWorx for DeviceNet™, Version 2.24.11
from the accompanying CD for use with the POINT I/O DeviceNet
adapter (1734-ADN).

If you fail to use these software versions, you

IMPORTANT
cannot operate the 1734-ADN as designed.

Installing the Software

If your CD-ROM drive is enabled for Autoplay, follow these steps:

1. Insert the CD into the CD-ROM drive. The installation wizard

will launch automatically.

2. Follow the steps described in the installation wizard.

If your CD-ROM is not enabled for Autoplay, follow these steps:

1. Insert the CD into the CD-ROM drive.

2. Browse (e.g. by using Windows Explorer) to the CD-ROM

drive on your computer.

3. Double-click on the CD.

4. Double-click on the Autorun.exe file. The installation wizard

will launch.

5. Follow the steps described in the installation wizard.
