SPEAKING ACTIVITY 1 3r ESO

In this task you have to show your skills to make a project which will end with an oral
presentation.

Steps to follow:

1. Make groups of 2-3 pupils.

2. Choose one topic from units 1 to 5: (you can also choose a selection of different situations
with a storyline)
 At the airport
 Asking and giving directions
 An advert / going shopping
 Sport (adventure sport, sports people...)
 Volunteers
 The past and present of buildings
 Accidents and emergencies: giving advice
 Making arrangements

3. Write down the script of your lines. You are free to choose any type of format: role-plays, TV
news, speech, dialogues, power-point presentations, podcasts, video recordings...But your
writings should be corrected first! Show the text to your teacher.

4. Study your lines. Reading won’t be allowed. Try to make it real.

5. Be creative when putting all your information together. Your presentations should last
about five minutes.
