Final Diagnosis:

Pregnancy Uterine delivered by primary emergency low transverse cesarean section with
bilateral tubal ligation for mentum posterior, term, cephalic, live birth, urinary tract
infection; G4P4

Low transverse incision or a bikini incision. This incision is made just above the pubic hairline
and is approximately six inches long. Occasionally the doctor makes an incision called a midline
incision. This sort of incision is performed when the doctor suspects potential complications
during the delivery and the possible need for additional surgery. The midline incision allows the
surgeon more room to operate and can allow for quicker delivery; however, it produces a less
cosmetically appealing scar. The majority of cesarean sections performed in the today utilize a
bikini incision. This incision has less blood loss and generally heals better than the classical
incision; it also allows a woman to consider vaginal birth in subsequent pregnancies

Bilateral Tubal Ligation is a procedure wherein a woman’s fallopian tubes are blocked. It is a
permanent form of birth control in which the eggs cannot move from the ovary through the tubes
(a woman has two fallopian tubes), and eventually to the uterus. Also, sperm cannot reach the
egg in the fallopian tube after it is released by the ovary. Pregnancy is prevented. A tubal ligation
typically is performed via a small incision in your abdomen. All forms of tubal ligation require
either burning, cutting, clamping or tying the mid section of your fallopian tubes. It is a
procedure intended for women who are considering permanent sterilization after having their
desired number of children and who never will desire for more or for any.

Urinary tract infection (UTI) is one of the most common bacterial infections during
pregnancy. UTI is associated with risks to both the fetus and the mother, including
pyelonephritis, preterm birth, low birth weight, and increased perinatal mortality. The prevalence
rates of bacteriuria in pregnant women and nonpregnant women are essentially the same.
