‫הנדון‪ :‬פרוייקט חב"ק‬

‫פרוייקט חב"ק הוא אחד מתוכניות הדגל הפועלות בביה"ס "דנציגר" – בית צעיר לאורך שנים ובאופן‬
‫עקבי‪ ,‬כשבשנה"ל תשע"א‪ ,‬הבאה עלינו לטובה‪ ,‬אנו אמורים להתחיל את שנת הפעילות השביעית‪.‬‬
‫התוכנית משרתת את תלמידי "אתגר להישגים" בשכבות ז'‪-‬ח' )‪ 4‬כתות‪ ,‬כ‪ 65-‬תלמידים(‪ ,‬המצויים‬
‫בנשירה סמויה‪ /‬גלויה ובעלי פערים לימודיים גדולים‪ .‬חלק גדול מהתלמידים מגיע ממשפחות קשות יום‬
‫והורים חסרי כוחות‪ ,‬ורוב התלמידים זקוקים למקום תומך‪ ,‬מבין ומאפשר‪.‬‬
‫התלמידים מגיעים למרכז הטניס אחת לשבוע ונהנים מחוויה יוצאת דופן ‪.‬‬
‫הם זוכים ליחס אישי מצוות מדריכים חם ומחויב‪ ,‬ורואים במרכז הטניס בית חם המשמש אותם גם בשעות‬
‫אחה"צ ‪ .‬עבור חלקם – זו הפעם הראשונה שהם נמצאים בחוג וזוכים ליחס מיוחד‪.‬‬
‫בסוף השנה קיבלו התלמידים יום כייף )שייט קיאקים(‪ ,‬והמצטיינים מביניהם זכו לטיסה בשמי הארץ‪,‬‬
‫דבר שהשאיר רושם רב על התלמידים וצוות המורים‪.‬‬
‫התוכנית היא ללא ספק אחד המדדים להצלחת התלמידים בביה"ס‪ .‬המחנכים מדווחים שהיא תורמת‬
‫להגברת המוטיבציה הלימודית ‪ ,‬להגעה סדירה לביה"ס ולשיפור ההתנהגות‪ .‬כמו‪-‬כן‪ ,‬התוכנית מפתחת‬
‫בקרב התלמידים את תחושת האחריות והמחויבות ‪ ,‬ותורמת מאוד לדימוי העצמי שלהם‪.‬‬

‫אנו שמחים בכל שנה להתבשר על המשך התוכנית ותרומתה לתלמידנו‪ ,‬ונהנים לעבוד בשיתוף פעולה‬
‫עימך ועם צוות המדריכים‪.‬‬

Greetings,

Subject: Embrace Project

The Embrace project is one of the flagship programs operating in school "Danciger" -
a home for the young over many years and consistently, we will be commencing our
seventh year of activity shortly.

The project serves the students' of "The Excellence Challenge School Program" for
grades 7-8 (4 classes, around 65 students), who are situated in apparent/unseen school
dropout rates with large gaps in learning. A large part of the students come from
families of challenged parents and deprived homes, and most students need a place of
comfort, understanding and enabling.

Students visit the Tennis Center once a week and enjoy an extraordinary experience.

They are treated individually with a warm and committed team of counselors, and see
the Tennis Center as a warm home serving them in the afternoon hours. For some
participants – it's their first life experience in an organized after school club where
they receive special attention.

At the end of the year Embrace Program students receive a recreational group activity
(canoeing), the outstanding students were awarded with a private flight in the skies of
Israel, leaving a lasting impression on the students and teachers.

The program is certainly one of the driving factors for the increase of success of these
students in school. Educators report that it contributes to increase the learning
motivation, ongoing school attendance and behavior improvement. Likewise, the
program develops in students the sense of responsibility and commitment, and
contributes to their self-image.

We are pleased each year to be notified of the continuation of the program as its
contribution to our students is key, as well as the fact that we enjoy working in
collaboration with you and your counselors.
