2.The frog s joy was sweet because he was earning a lot of money from the concerts
by charging admission fees from the creatures of the bog. It was bitter because
the nightingale was a huge success and his singing had never been appreciated s
o he was jealous of her.
3.The nightingale in an attempt to please the frog over strained herself, burst
a vein and died.
4.The nightingale possessed a melodious voice. All the creatures used to be mesm
erised hearing her song. She turned into a singing sensation and began to sing i
n concerts. The nightingale did not use her sense of judgement in assessing the
frog s character. She was greatly impressed and flattered by his boastful claims.
She came under the influence of the frog who exploited her for his own selfish m
otive. Because of extensive training, her voice became hoarse and she started qu
ivering.
The frog exploited her for his own personal interests and
earned money. She lacked the power of decision making and a resolute will. As a
result, she was constantly driven by the manipulative designs of the frog. She w
as, in a way, responsible for her own doom.
