LIST OF PRACTICUM PREFERENCE

Upon completion of the course, the student of Bachelor of Science in Economics (BSEcon.) is expected to
have been involved in any of the activities listed below.

1. Preparation of research proposal including feasibility study proposal;

2. Simple socio-economic or politico-economic surveys and/ or profiling;

3. Writing of economic or politico-economic reports, articles, speeches or other papers which are
research-base:

4. Actual research on any problem or issue relevant to the course of the trainees, preferably in more
than one step of the process from problem formulation to writing of the research report;

5. Development of simple econometric model including the writing of the technical report;

6. Actual feasibility study preferably in economic, financial or socio-economic aspects;

7. Preparation of local development or corporate plan, preferably in more than one phase of the
process; and

8. Other projects or activities relevant to the course of the trainees.
