Missions Conference 2011

We are thrilled with the turnout and response to Missions Week . Overall we had
great success and large numbers of kids. Our hope and prayer was that kids thought
critically about considering missions as a life’s calling.

Positive:
 Great turnout!! All nights!
 Overall the missionaries were great.
 Good support from helpers to facilitate.
 Around the world in 90 minutes was a hit!
 Scavenger Hunt was a hit
 Passports were a hit!
 Highlights were Emil Helm rocked the house, Bob and Victoria did a great
job with Haiti

Need improving for next year

 Promotion needs to be better for kids.
 We need a space to pick up the kids after the Missions Dinner. It was crazy
trying to get them in the midst of the total dismissal.
 Amra Phou was nice, but I wouldn’t ask him to speak again to kids.
 Room scheduling will be better next year.
 Roger Peugh (I sent you his info) would be a dynamic speaker for Missions
Conference next year. He’s about as quality as they come.
 Would love to talk more creatively about how to engage the whole family in a
Missions Night.
