The projects topic was What Went Wrong Webquest . I had to find information

related to the rise and decline of the Islamic civilization. I started this Webquest by

reading the whole paper to see what I was going to look, for during my research. It

was easy to research though because the website where the information was to be

found was already included in the paper. There was also a list of question to each

part of what to do research for.

I started this project by reading all of the information included in the paper.

Then I read each part carefully before I started researching to see what information

I was going to look for. When I finished reading the whole entire paper I decided to

go and search on the computer using the sources that the paper provided me for

each part of the Webquest. 1st I went to the sources to find the basic information of

Islam I found every detail that I needed for the first part in those sources. When I

got to the second part I basically found that same information on the first sources

so basically I didn’t use the sources provided to me in that part. When I got to the

3rd part I went onto those sources to look for information to answer the questions

ask in that section. In the part 4, it got a little bit harder because I mostly had to

think and figure out the question just by thinking.

From doing this project I learned many things that I didn’t know about the

Islamic civilization and also about Muslims. I also learned about the some of their

greatest inventions and I got to find out why they were powerful but also why they

declined. But I also learn that the will of the Muslims is what made the spread of
the religion faster. The Islamic civilization influences many of other areas near

them. Most of the Muslims population still practices this religion especially in parts

of the Middle East.
