REF: Issue of a new licence of Retailer of Liquor & Alcoholic Products (OFF)

I Devika Sujoowan and others neighbors’ of the area we live at Royal Road Midlands, object to the issue of the above
mention licence to Mrs. Manoobaye Bhiwoo, owner of GIRNI Shop of Royal Road Midlands for the following reasons:

1. The possibility of nuisance or vandalism.

2. The possibility of an increase in noise pollution.

3. In the past last 3 years another shop in the same area was operating in the selling of alcoholic products and

it was a nuisance for us to sleep during night as the owner of the shop was selling alcoholic drinks till very

late during the night and its customers makes lots of noise and use improper languages and sometimes

they fight among themselves. Finally the shop was closed. So we do not want this to happen again.

I hope that my letter will be taken into consideration and thanking you in advance.

Yours sincerely

………………………….

(Mrs. Devika Sujoowan)
