Holding Your Cube:

Holding ,"oU!' cube with the white center piece on the top (U) face. ,"au must create a white cross as S'hownto the right. Much of thiS' level is achieved with practice and D;Y trial and error. .. but We do have some tips.

STAGE Z:

• Be sure to solve the sections of the white cross in the following order - blue. orange. green. red.

• Notice the EDGE PIECE COLO~S above match the top white center piece and the side red and blue center pieceS'. This i.s how we .know the edge pieces are in the correct poSitions.

• Keeping the white center piece on top. move the blue/white edge piece to the bottom (D) face. then rotate it on the bottom untillt is' direct!,- under the blue center piece. Now hold ;your cube so the blue center piece and blue/white edge piece are on the right (R) face.

"a

I{otate the right (R) face' until the blue/white edge

piece is on the top (U) face and above the blue center piece.

• II 10ur cube looks like this. hold 10ur cube so the orange center piece is on the right (R) lace and start solving the side with the orange center piece the same wa1 as stated above.

• It 10ur cube looks like thill. do theseq, uence below making sure the blue center piece is on the right (R) lace.

Wi

Cube has a white cress that loOks this picture. 10U can move to Stage 31

Holding Your Cube:

With the white cross on top (1.1) lace. you must sol"e the white corner pieces,

!Tips:

• Corner pieces will have one white side plus '2 other colors,

• It the corner piece t; alread,. on the bottom (D) lace. then rotate the bottom (D) lace until the corner is directl,. below its intended location, Once in that position.,.our cube m.,. look like an,. one 01 the 3 pictures on the right,

THEN do the ;eq,uence below IX. 2X or 3X or UNTIL it is in the correct poSition

• .Repeat this process lor all lour corners.

• II the corner piece is on the top (U) 'ace. m.o'fe it to the bottom. (D) lace by doing:

'Ili

NOW rotate the bottom. (D) lace UNTIL the corner is directly below it's intended top (ll) lace location,

:tOur white lal'l' ladks like the picture here. ~u have completed Ol\e third 01 the cube and ~u can move to Stage 41

STAGE 4:

Holding Your Cube:

With the COMPLETED WHITE LAYEa on the BOTTOM. now 10U have to solve the middle la~l'. which means pOSitioning the 'edg-e pieces' In the correct place.

I TipS:

• Notice the vertical row of blue (this could be red. oranIJe. green) - nils IS CR,ITICAL!

• Create a ferticalline bt rotating" the top (U) face until the front color of the edve piece on the top (U) face Without yellow on it matches a side center piece. The color on the edp piece's top (U) face will determine the direction the edge piece should JllO\fe.

I) [f 1ou're movin'l the ed'le piece in the same direction as indicated in the picture. then follow the seC{}lential moves pictured below,

2) [f you're mOVin'l the edge piece in the same direction as indicated in the picture, then follow the seq, uential mOVes pictured below:

Continue these steps untU all the ed'le pieces are in the correct position.

IIIiIIOIlIoIWIai [f one of the edge pieces is alread1 in the middle row. but in the wrong poSition. then do either one of the seq, uential moves. and it will move to the top la~r. Then you can do the appropriate se<01enttal mOVeS to position it in the correct location of the middle layer.

;tOur bottom blo layerS' look like thiS' pi,cture, can move to Stage 5. You Are Two ThirdS' 01 Wa'Y Donel

Holding Your Cube:

1) Match \he )"ellow pattern on the top (U) tace ot )"our cube to one ot the )"ellow patterns' shown on the cubes below.

2) Then tollow the correct seCVlence.

• Yellow edge pieces on the top (ul lace do NOT need to match on the Side pieces ... )'etl

1st Step : .Make a yellol'l7 cross

State 3.

Proceed to the 2nd Step on the nen pag'e.

Then match the result to State 3 or 1:1, hold the cube to match that State and do that seq, uence.

2nd Step: Make all the corners yellow

NOW, look at. t.he t.op (U) la.ce and match your t.op (U) lace t.o one 01 t.he st.at.es below

Stat.e 1.

IE No Corner Cubes are Yellow on t.he top (U) face. ;you must. have Yellow Lett. Corner on Lett. Face as shown

St.at.e 2.

IE One Corner Cube is Yellow match ,-our top (U) face as shown and do t.he sectUence below.

St.at.e 3.

IE An,- Two Corn.er Cubes are Yellow don't. worry about. t.heir posit.ion. You MUST match t.he front. (FJ face wit.h a Yellow Lett. Corner as shown.

Do t.his sectUence 1. 2 or 3 t.imes t.o achieVe a complet.e ,-ellow t.op (U) face. Atter each sel\uence. orient. t.he cube t.o REMATCH t.he t.op (U) face t.o t.he appropriat.e st.at.e and repeat. t.he sel\uence unt.1I all corners are ,-ellow.

It 10Ur cube looks ltl<e this pictu.re you can mo'll'e to Stage 61

Holdin9 Your Cube:

!) While holding cube as' S'hown.

NOW t~ the top (ul face until at least:2 corners are in the right location. :2 corners MUST be in the

right location as' A. B 01' A. D or B. C as' S'hown beloW'. It aliI:!: corners are in the right place then proceed to 2nd step on next pag-e.

1st Step: Position yellolV corners correctly

While holding 10ur cube as shown above, look at the top (U) face. Place the 2col"l'ect corners in the back A. B 01' diagonally A .. D 01' B. C aeress Erom each other.

It Corners A B are in the rig-ht place then to S'witch C andD.

do the seq,uence below:

It;1OU need to sWitch diagonaicorners like Band Cor D and A. then do the seq, uence once. Then. orient the cube so the 2 correct corners are in the back and do the sectuence again.

It lOur cu:be looks like this picture 10U can move to the Znd Stepl

2nd Step: Positi.on yelloW' edges correctly III edge is correct and 3 edges are incorrect orient the cube so the lace with the correct edge is the back (B) lace. Then. determine il the edge

pieces need to move clockwise or counter-clockwise and do the correct seq, uence below.

It aUli edges are incorrect. then do either seq,1lence beloW' once. and then determiheW'hat direction the three eelge pieces need to mow and do the correct seq, uence below.
