 “Where Audrey Hepburn Meets Judy Jetson.”

Creative Brief

Background: Once upon a time, a kicky young miss named Anna Lange (that’s Anna Banana, to you) dreamed of bringing
clothes with clout to the masses. “Today’s look reflects today’s taste,” she said to herself, as she painted her toenails with Passion Pink. Soon
enough, her delicious dream became a reality; she opened Pretty Parlor in Seattle’s Capitol Hill in November of 2001.

Currently the 1000-square foot boutique (that’s a lot of pink paint, pardner!) showcases vintage & indie designer fashions, jewelry, and
accessories for men and women. Anna now spends her days frolicking among the racks of fabulous finds and creates flirty fashions for her
own label, “House of Pretty Parlor”. If that’s not happily ever after, we don’t know what is.

Target Audience: Men and Women (mostly women) with a sense of unique, retro style and flair.

Objectives:
-To create a simple, easily understandable webiste design
-To create a look and feel that is smart and sexy, fun and not a just a little kitchy where shoppers can browse, read up on the happenings
at Pretty Parlor and shop to their hearts content.

Obstacles: The current Pretty Parlor sight is “kitchy” to the point of being tacky, so we don’t want to lose the sense of fun though still
making it a little more classy.

Benefits: Pretty Parlor will be able to have clientele be their models, offer “Modeling Parties” and raise their regular sales by offering
sales online. Customers will also be enticed to come into Oretty Parlor to shop and experience the boutique.

Tone: Bright, warm, fun and, of course, lots and lots of pink.
