HOW TO ADD A COMPUTER TO A DOMAIN

WINDOWS 7:

1. Log in as the local Administrator.

2. Open the Run Prompt ( + R).
3. Type in “sysdm.cpl ” and press Enter .
4. After the System Properties applet comes up, click the “Change… ” button.
5. If the computer name needs to change, change it in the “Computer name: ” text box.
6. Select the “Domain:” radio button.
7. In the text box directly below, enter either “RRCC.CCOFC.EDU” for the RRCC domain,
or “RRCCINST.CCOFC.EDU” for the RRCCINST domain. Press “OK ”.
8. Enter your credentials if required. (Make sure you are using an account that can
authenticate to the domain you are trying to join.)
9. Press “OK”, “OK”, then “Restart Now”.

The computer is now ready for KMS.
