Ciiticism In Architecture is the thied regional semi- nar sponsored by The Aga Khan Award for Architecture in a series entitled Exploring Architecture in Islamic Cultures, The seminar was conceived by the Award’ Steering Committee, and ‘tho intellectual framework was developed by the Deputy Secretary General, Dr. Suha Oaken, ‘The meetings were held under the auspices of the Inernational Committee of Architectural Critics whose past president, Dennis Sharp, acted as con stant to the Award to foster the seminar topic. In Malta, the seminar was co-sponsored by the Uni- versity of Malta's Foundation for International Stu- dies. Richard England was the seminar coordinator locally.
