Our client is one of the leading operators of Canada. They are looking
to fill a position within Network Operations team. The incumbent will
be responsible for providing senior level technical support to the
Network Operations Centre. The main focus of the position will be to
maintain the Data Network. The position requires a previous background
in IP and GPRS Networks.
? Provide Technical Suppor to NOC staff for the Wireless Data Networks
on a national scope
? Action and coordinate staff resources to clear or repair all service
conditions
? Assist in the implementation and testing of work and maintenance
? Operation and maintenance of GPRS/HSPA Network and Mobitex Network
? Operation and maintenance of IP backbone Nodes
? Conduct acceptance and integration of Data Network nodes
? Complete roll out of upgrades and associated ATPs
? Ensure performance indicators are strictly adhered to
? Implement Data Network work orders and complete associated check
list
? Analysis of alarms and statistical measurements to investigate
service affecting conditions
? Coordinate trouble shooting activity with Content providers, service
partners and other internal departments to resolve Network issues
? Develop KPIs and threshold limits within the available Monitoring
systems to capture Network degradation and delays
? Provide input when required to detailed fault analysis reports
? Implement preventive maintenance routines as scheduled
? Develop and Communicate technical documentation related to
standards, procedures and preventive maintenance
? Other reasonable and related duties as required
