John 13: 34-35 34 "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another,
just like I have loved you; that you also love one another. 35 By this everyone will
know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."

1. Introduction

Jesus Christ is coming back soon, are you ready?

John 3: 3-21

3 Jesus answered him, “Most assuredly, I tell you, unless one is

born anew,(again) he can’t see the Kingdom of God.” 4 Nicodemus
said to him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter
a second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?” 5 Jesus
answered, “Most assuredly I tell you, unless one is born of water
and spirit, he can’t enter into the Kingdom of God! 6 That which is
born of the flesh is flesh. That which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7
Don’t marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born anew.’ 8 The
wind*2 blows where it wants to, and you hear its sound, but don’t
know where it comes from and where it is going. So is everyone
who is born of the Spirit.”

9 Nicodemus answered him, “How can these things be?” 10 Jesus

answered him, “Are you the teacher of Israel, and don’t understand
these things? 11 Most assuredly I tell you, we speak that which we
know, and testify of that which we have seen, and you don’t receive
our witness. 12 If I told you earthly things and you don’t believe,
how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things? 13 No one has
ascended into heaven, but he who descended out of heaven, the
Son of Man, who is in heaven. 14 As Moses lifted up the serpent in
the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that
whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever
believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 17 For God didn’t send his
Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him.
18 He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn’t believe has been judged
already, because he has not believed in the name of the only born Son of God. 19 This
is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness
rather than the light; for their works were evil. 20 For everyone who does evil hates
the light, and doesn’t come to the light, lest his works would be exposed. 21 But he
who does the truth comes to the light, that his works may be revealed, that they have
been done in God.”

2. Who Is Jesus?

Jesus is the Son of God

John 1:14, The Word became flesh, and lived among us. We saw
his glory, such glory as of the one and only Son of the Father, full of
grace and truth.

Hebrews 4:15, Jesus was tempted in every way, just as we are.

For we don’t have a high priest who can’t be touched with the
feeling of our infirmities, but one who has been in all points tempted
like we are, yet without sin.

1 John 3:5, Jesus came to earth in human form so that He could

die a physical death and take away our sins. Everyone who has this
hope set on him purifies himself, even as he is pure. 4 Everyone
who sins also commits lawlessness. Sin is lawlessness. 5 You know
that he was revealed to take away our sins, and in him is no sin.

John 1:1-3, Jesus existed from the beginning. 1 In the beginning

was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made
through him. Without him was not anything made that has been
made.

Miracles: Luke 7:22 — 22 Jesus answered them, “Go and tell John
the things which you have seen and heard: that the blind receive
their sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear,
the dead are raised up, and the poor have good news preached to
them.

Matthew 16:13-17 13 Now when Jesus came into the parts of

Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, “Who do men say
that I, the Son of Man, am?” 14 They said, “Some say John the
Baptizer, some, Elijah, and others, Jeremiah, or one of the
prophets.” 15 He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” 16
Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living
God.” 17 Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar Jonah,
for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who
is in heaven.

Fulfillment of Prophecy: Matthew 13:14,

14 In them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says, ‘By

hearing you will hear, And will in no way understand; Seeing you
will see, And will in no way perceive: Luke 24:44 — Jesus' own
identification/claim: John 10:30-38, Matthew 16:13-17, Mark
14:61-64 — Claims of Christ's followers: Hebrews 1:8, Colossians
1:16, John 12:40 (quoting Isaiah 6:1-10) — Resurrection: Luke
24:39, Mark 8:31,

Acts 17:32 Jesus is the key to membership in God’s family. When

He established His deity by rising from the grave, He made it
possible for us to have forgiveness from sin and a renewed
relationship with God. 32 Now when they heard of the resurrection
of the dead, some mocked; but others said, “We want to hear you
again concerning this.” Who is Jesus? He is the Way to Heaven;
Who is Jesus, and why is He the only path to salvation?

John 14:6, Jesus declares: “I am the way and the truth and the
life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” Why is it
important to know that NO other religious leaders throughout
history have ever made these claims?

Ephesians 2:8-9, 8“for by grace you have been saved through

faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of
works, that no one would boast." How does this contrast with other
world religions which are based on “works” versus faith in Jesus and
the resurrection? If we can’t build a relationship with God by doing
good deeds or repeating rituals, what must we do?

Acts 4:12 is clear, “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no

other name under heaven given to men by which we must be
saved.”

3. It is important to know the truth about Jesus, why?

John 17: 3

3 This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God,
and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ.

The knowledge of God and Jesus Christ, will lead us to eternel life,
where the planet earth will be transformed into a paradise.

Jesus was the best person to show us the better way to live and
treat people.

John 13: 34-35

34 “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another,

just like I have loved you; that you also love one another. 35 By
this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love
for one another.”

The promised Messiah

Before Jesus was born, the bible has predicted the venue of Jesus
or The Messiah, and that he will be born in Bethlehem.

John 1:41

He first found his own brother, Simon, and said to him, “We have
found the Messiah!” (which is, being interpreted, Christ ).

Messiah comes from an hebrew word

Chirst comes from a Greek word, both mean anointed (established

by God in a particular position)

Where Jesus Came from?

The bible says that Jesus has lived in heaven for a long time, before
living on earth.

Micah 5: 2 2 But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Being small among

the clans of Judah, Out of you one will come forth to me that is to
be ruler in Israel; Whose goings forth are from of old, from
everlasting.

John 3:13 13 No one has ascended into heaven, but he who

descended out of heaven, the Son of Man, who is in heaven.

Jesus is called the Word this means that he was talking in the
name of God.

John 1:14 14 The Word became flesh, and lived among us. We saw
his glory, such glory as of the one and only Son of the Father, full of
grace and truth.

Nobody can be compared to God

John 14:28

28 You heard how I told you, ‘I go away, and I come to you.’ If you
loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I said ‘I am going to
my Father;’ for the Father is greater than I.

1corinthiens 11:3

3 But I would have you know that the head of every man is Christ,
and the head of the woman is the man, and the head of Christ is
God.

Jesus is the perfect portrait of God

John 14:9

9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you such a long time, and do
you not know me, Philip? He who has seen me has seen the Father.
How do you say, ‘Show us the Father?’

Jesus came into the earth to teach the word of God He was obedient
to his father who sent him.

John 7:16 16 Jesus therefore answered them, "My teaching is not

mine, but his who sent me."

4. The 4 books of the Bible called the Gospels

The Gospels:

Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are the 4 books of the Bible called
the Gospels, to teach us a lot of things about the life, the activities
and the qualities of Jesus Christ.

Matthew 4: 23

23 Jesus went about in all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues,

preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and
every sickness among the people.

Jesus was teaching anywhere to anybody. He was doing the will of

God (his father), but he was teaching also because he has
compassion for the people who came to see him.

Matthew 9: 35-36

35 Jesus went about all the cities and the villages, teaching in their
synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing
every disease and every sickness among the people. 36 But when
he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion for them,
because they were harassed and scattered, like sheep without a
shepherd.

Jesus knew that people needed to hear the Good News, about the
kingdom of God: How life will be a paradise, with no more sickness
and badness. A life where everybody will be happy, no more
sadness!

Jesus has always been faithful to God, despite the suffering

he has endured.

5. Why Jesus was teaching about the Kingdom of God?

The kingdom of God is in Heaven, with Jesus as a King, but it is

not on earth yet. Satan is reigning on earth doing a lot of hurts.
One day the kingdom of God will reign on earth and Satan won't be
part of it, he will be sent away forever.

Psalms 37:29

29 The righteous shall inherit the land, And live in it forever.

Luc 4:43

43 But he said to them, “I must preach the good news of the

Kingdom of God to the other cities also. For this reason I have been
sent.”

Revelation 12 :12

12 Therefore rejoice, heavens, and you who dwell in them. Woe to

the earth and to the sea, because the devil has gone down to you,
having great wrath, knowing that he has but a short time.”

Jesus has given this prayer as a model

Matthew 6 : 9-13

9 Pray like this: ‘Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept
holy. 10 Let your kingdom come. Let your will be done, as in

heaven, so on earth. 11 Give us today our daily bread. 12 Forgive
us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. 13 Bring us not into
temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the
kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen.’

1Timothy 6 15

15 which in its own times he will show, who is the blessed and only
Ruler, the King of kings, and Lord of lords

The Sacrifice of Jesus Christ, was the only price to Pay to

make up for our sins.

When Adam has sin, he lost his perfect life for himself, but for all
the future descendants also! The imperfect life and suffering in the
world today, is an inheritance of Adam's sin.

Genesis 3: 17-19

17 To Adam he said, “Because you have listened to your wife’s

voice, and have eaten of the tree, of which I commanded you,
saying, ‘You shall not eat of it,’ cursed is the ground for your sake.
In toil you will eat of it all the days of your life. 18 Thorns also and
thistles will it bring forth to you; and you will eat the herb of the
field. 19 By the sweat of your face will you eat bread until you
return to the ground, for out of it you were taken. For you are dust,
and to dust you shall return.”

John 3: 16

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son,
that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal
life.

Matthew 20: 28

28 even as the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and
to give his life as a ransom for many.”

Jesus has always been teaching about the kingdom of God, because he will be
part of it.

Jesus loves you. He wants you to know the good News about the end of a bad
world.

Revelation 11: 15

15 The seventh angel sounded, and great voices in heaven followed,

saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the Kingdom of our
Lord, and of his Christ. He will reign forever and ever!”
