DATA COLLECTION SOURCES

During the data collecting process, quantitative studies were done. This is where 40 students
(20 boys and 20 girls) were chosen by stratified random sampling from four southern secondary
schools in Trinidad ranging from forms 4- 6. They were Asja Boys College, Debe High School, San
Fernando Central Secondary School and Naparima Girls’ High School. Each person was
individually greeted and was informed about the study and was then asked if they would like to
participate in the study in which everyone willingly agreed as well as permission was granted by
the principle. A 10 item questionnaire was distributed to the students on a Thursday afternoon
after school.
