Agri credit

Agri credit refers to the type of credit which is linked with the growth and
developed of agriculture sector only.
Example
• Credit for the production of wheat ,cotton etc
• Credit for purchases machinery, seeds and fertilizer etc.
• Credit to install tube well etc
Type of agriculture credits
1. Short term credit
Its time period less then 1 year .it is obtained for the purchase of seeds
and fertilizer and pesticides.
2. Medium term credit
Its time period up to five year it is used for the purchase of
cattle, to meet the cost of repair and improvements.
3. Long term credit
Its period more than five year, it is used for installment of
tube well and development of land and purchase of land.
