    Qasidah Jihadiyyah

    You are the light of Guidance


    the Banner and Shield of Truth
    Wipe out then this darkness of error
    To victory succour
    The Deen of Muhammad

    If you persist in mutual disputes


    you will lose heart, your power depart
    If you retreat or turn your back
    here and on that Day you will regret
    If you show vainglory in self-gleam
    you will be squeezed of all esteem
    Reflect!
    O Pupil of Muhammad

    Doubt never! Islam is strength and power;


    ‘Tis Jihad, Futuwwah, organic order
    Each to the other, a buttressing brother.
    Here the whole matter:
    Adherence to Muhammad

    Smash this nightly oppression do not fear


    mount on war steeds, Charge!
    (Fight the oppressor, the usurer)
    with morning vigour; expend in all dear
    Raise High!
    The Deen of Muhammad

    There is naught demeaning in Islam


    Nor aught in it wearisome
    (Do not then wane of its name)
    All therein: Exalted, Sublime
    Such of a surety is
    The Deen of Muhammad

    Do not lean nor show sympathy


    To the enemy; be not benign
    or gentle – this is battle –
    Announce hence in every valley:
    “You are
    The Army of Muhammad

    Antumu noorul hidayah


    Antumu lil Haqqi raayah
    Hattimu zulmal ghawaayah
    Wansuroo Deena Muhammad

    Intanaaza’tum fashiltum
    Aw tadaabartum nadimtum
    Aw ta’aalaytum radhiltum
    Ya talaameedha Muhammad

    Innamal Islamu Quwwah


    Wa Jihaduw wa futuwwah
    Wa Nizaamuw wa Ukhuwwah
    Wattibaa’un lil Muhammad

    Hattimu zulmal Layaaliy


    Warkiboo rukban nahaariy
    Wabdhuloo fee kulli ghaaliy
    Warfa’oo deena Muhammad

    Laysa fil Islamu Dhillu


    Laysa feehi maayumallu
    Kullu maa feehi yujallu
    Innahu deenu Muhammad

    Laa tameelu ilal a’aadee


    Laa takunu lil awaanee
    A’linoo fee kulli waadee
    Innakum Junda Muhammad
