Owl City is the work of one person, Adam Young, who started the electronica music in his home

as a result of his insomnia. He uses several different instruments and a computer to make a blend of electronica and pop. Owl City gained popularity from MySpace, where his songs were uploaded. He received a contract from Universal Republic due to the viral popularity of Hello Seattle. Owl Citys latest album, Ocean Eyes, was released recently.
