Many wiring devices are ordered in big standard pre-packs. That may be comfortable, but its also a gigantic waste of resources since you seldom use everything in the pack! At Schneider Electric we think its important to work in an environmentally friendly way and we know you want to share that belief with us. Thats why you need two E-numbers to order Exxact one for the insert and one for the frame. In that way you will also cut costs, reduce waste and escape the irritation from having excess parts left after an installation.

Exxact Design Mostly needed at home

Exxact Design is available in the most common home combinations: 1 to 3-gang and a double socket outlet frame. (For 4 to 5-gang combination, choose Primo.) The transparent front frame is easily removed without interfering with the electrical installation. Underneath a pattern or colour of choice can be inserted. A Smart Home can be created in different ways. If you are building a new house, KNX is the most efcient solution, with a decentralized and automatic control of the systems for light control, energy efciency, safety, heating, cooling etc. For refurbishing, a Smart Home is easiest created by using stand-alone electronics and radio transmitted gear like Connect wireless. A very easy way to save energy and make living more comfortable is to install thermostats for control of room heating from radiators and the oor. The result is an even temperature and a 5% energy saving for each degree that the heat is lowered.

Put a switch on the tile or glass walls in the bathroom. Its no problem at all with the wireless RF-system Connect, which easily allows mounting of an extra switch exactly where its needed. No cables a perfect solution when refurbishing!

A smarter living room

Most living-rooms constantly leak energy. The main reason is that the TV, computers, etc are often left in standby mode. Some other important sources to energy waste is lighting and heating, which seldom are kept down in the sitting-room. In the Exxact Smart Home the power can be turned off from a main switch.
