Title : Should Korea operate and build the nuclear power plants?

On March eleventh this year, the worst Tusnami in the history of mankind hit Japan. It completely devastated the North-East of Japan. According to the Japanese government, the number of deaths by Tusnmai is over fifteen thousands. Also, it is estimated to take two hundreds trillion won to recover the Tusnami damages. The worse thing is that the Tusnami has damaged the nuclear power plants located nearby. The radiation level of the affected areas has already exceeded thousand times of the standard and the radioactive has flowed near sea. This accident made the whole world think about the safety of the nuclear power plant. In the case of Germany, it has already announced that it will close whole nuclear power plants by 2020. As the sixth largest holder of nuclear power plant in the world, Korea also has to consider the operation of the nuclear power plant. Accordingly, this paper will examine (1) the efficiency of the nuclear power plant, (2) the problems that may bring about when we still operate the nuclear power plant, and (3) the future of the nuclear power plant of Korea.
