INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR SUPPLY OF RENEWABLE POWER

Torrent Power Ltd. (TPL) is one of the largest private electricity utilities in India. TPL has generating capacities of 1647.5 MW and also distributes over 10 billion units per annum in the cities of Ahmedabad, Bhiwandi, Gandhinagar, Surat and Agra. TPL intends to purchase power generated from renewable energy sources like Wind, Biomass, Bagasse, Mini / Micro Hydel, MSW etc. in the state of Gujarat on a long term basis to meet its Renewable Power Purchase Obligation. TPL invites interested parties to submit their Expression of Interest (EoI), with the following details pertaining to the project: Information regarding the Project (1) Source(s) of power generation (2) Installed / Proposed capacity (MW) (3) Estimated Annual Energy Supply (Mus) (4) Location(s) of the Power Generator (5) Current status of the project(s) and Expected Date of Commissioning (6) Status of approvals / permissions from the Concerned Authorities (7) Status / Permissions of power evacuation facilities (8) Other terms & conditions of offer (if any) The interested parties are also required to submit Annual Reports of last 3 years and details of the projects executed till date.
