INPIRATION

I am coming from a poor family background. My father works hard day and night to earn for a living so my family and I can live happily. My father and mother were uneducated. When I was a child, they already taught me that education is everything in our life. He told me that if we want to improve our position in life, we need to be well-educated. Advice was just a piece of advice. It did not affect at all. I never studied. For me, study was useless and honestly, I hated to study. I alwa ys played video games even though UPSR was just around the corner. When I wanted to sit for my UPSR in the school hall, I was extremely nervous because I never studied and I did not know how to answer the questions. Well, my laziness paid as I only got 4As and 1B for my UPSR which was bad, actually. I really learntmy lesson. That incident taught me to be a better student. I promised myself to strive for excellence. Then I was offered to study in a Secondary School, SMK Telok Kumbar. I started to study hard and managed to be the top students in every exam which I sat for. After that, when I was in Form 2, I made a decision to move into a new and better school. I applied for Penang Free School and after a month I got the offer. Studying in Penang Free School was quite challenging. I turned into a playful boy again. Every exam that I sat for , I would be the first in my class but among the 30 th in the school. Then, one day my history teacher advised me to study hard because she said that I was smart. Due to my attitude I could not improve myself. When I was in Form 3, I set a new pledge that I wanted score straight As in my PMR examination. I did all exercises that my teacher gave to me and I attended all the extra classes. When PMR was near I worked harder. When, PMR result came out I tremendously happy because I got straight As . Thank God. Now, in the year 2011, after I got straight As in PMR, I got offered to study in MJSC Baling. I was so delighted because I had achieved what I have been dreaming of.
