MULTI DISEASE TARGETING DRUGS

Abstract:

Microorganisms are rich source of disease targeting drugs.The drugs are basically microbial derived peptide, proteins ,and other biomolecules.The drug industry is one of the important players guiding the development of the medicines ,biotechnology, and pharmacology field. Drug discovery is the process by which drugs are discovered and desigened.In this process by which identifying a compound therapeutically useful in curing and treating disease .These drugs are active against various infectious agents but not generally against disease such as cancer , tb , malaria HIV /AIDS etc.These serious disease that are intractable to treatment were found to have multiple pathogenic factors . So rational drug design a more recent approach where small molecule inhibitors are designed by high throughput screening against an important enzyme or protein catalyzing or constituting a key step in progression of the disease.In rational drug design Where drug will inhibit multiple steps in the disease progression pathway as well as target multiple invaders of human body ,therefore it is demonstrating as multidisease targeting drugs.
