    Tomcat6 Installation

    Step 1. Extract Apache-tomcat-6.0.32.tar.gz into Desktop. Step 2. Open Terminal. Step 3. In Terminal type cd Desktop. Step 4. In Terminal type cd apache-tomcat-6.0.32/bin

    Step 5. In Terminal type sh startup.sh to Start the Tomcat Server.

    Step 6. Type htpp://localhost:8080 to check the server is running or not

    Step 7. To Shutdown the tomcat server use command sh shutdown.sh

    Step 8.

    Installation completed successfully.
