    The Embassy of the Hellenic Republic has the pleasure to announce that the known Armonia choir of Kalamata, Greece, will visit Helsinki in June 2011, and will give two musical choir concerts.

    On Sunday morning, 26 June 2011 at 10.00 hrs, the Armonia choir will participate in the Holy Liturgy at the Uspensky Orthodox Cathedral by singing ecclesiastical Byzantine hymns. On Tuesday, 28 June 2011 from 18.00 to 20.00, Armonia will hold an evening concert at the Rock Church (Temppeliaukion kirkko), performing Greek songs and music. Arja Saijonmaa, the renowned Finnish singer of songs by the Greek composer Mikis Theodorakis, is honouring the occasion by appearing with the choir. FREE ENTRANCE!
