DEFINE THE PROBLEM

Two units located at Hyderabad & Pondicherry were working properly & were able to meet their budget target, where as indoor unit was not able to do so. Supervisors aren t shown consistency on their performance. They were not able to meet their budget target.

ANALYZE THE PROBLEM


Nobody there to control & compel the supervisor, that s why they do as their wishes & hence not able to found the target. Supervisors aren t strictly stick to their targets because they didn t believe in the exercise of authority & they don t obey the instruction of the authority.

DEVLOPING ALTERNATIVES
 When the plant manager, Mr. P. Monohar

controlling the whole unit of Indore, at that time the work was running at the right track & after he left the plant , the productivity fell down & the budget was again in trouble.  That means under the observation of the plant manager the Indore unit was functioning well due to his autocratic nature, when he left the unit , all the supervisors again got the chance for leisure & hence the productivity reduced & the budget was imbalanced.

ALTERNATIVE
The plant manager again come back to the

Indore unit. Those supervisors are not up to their marks, they should be suspended. If training require , it can be provided. Exceed the remuneration & provide different policies to the workers if required. Provide a strict authority who can guide & instruct the unit.

EVALUATING THE ALTERNATIVES


 Mr. P. Monohor was the plant manager of the

biggest unit of SUPER ENGINEERING COMPANY which was at Hyderabad, so it is not possible for him to come again & again to Indore for investigation where vacancy rose.
 If suspension will issue then it will reduce the

productivity & from where the unit will get experienced employee ? So, it is not possible.
 Remuneration and training aren t require

according to this dilemma.

SELECTING THE BEST ALTERNATIVE


 So, taking consideration to RISK, ECONOMY, TIMING & LIMITATION OF RESOURCE provide a strict authority to the unit who can steer & instruct the unit & compel the unit to grab their budget target & increase the productivity.
