    The Judicial and Bar Council (JBC) announces that it will accept applications or recommendations for the position of Presiding Justice of the Sandiganbayan until June 17, 2011. Applicants must submit required documents such as a personal data sheet, transcripts, certificates of admission to the bar, income tax returns, clearances, and medical certificates by June 28, 2011. Previous applicants must check with the Secretariat regarding outdated application documents. Those who fail to submit required documents by the deadline will not be considered for an interview or nomination. The JBC will interview two more candidates for the position of Ombudsman on June 22 and 29, 2011. The public interview of one candidate is rescheduled to June 27

    The Judicial and Bar Council (JBC) announces that it will still accept up to 17 June 2011 (Friday) applications or recommendations (with the recommendees conformity) for the position of Presiding Justice of the Sandiganbayan. New applicants or recommendees must submit the following documentary requirements on or before 28 June 2011 (Tuesday):
    Six (6) copies of Personal Data Sheet (JBC Form 1 downloadable from the JBC Website (http://jbc.supremecourt.gov.ph) with recent ID Picture (2x2) Transcript of School Records Certificate of Admission to the Bar (with Bar rating) One (1) copy of Income Tax Return for the past two (2) years 2011 Clearances from the NBI, Ombudsman, Police from place of residence, IBP, Office of the Bar Confidant, and employer Cert. of Good Standing or latest official receipt from the IBP Proofs of age and Filipino Citizenship Results of medical examination and sworn medical certificate with impressions on such results, both conducted/issued within 2 months prior to the filing of application Statements of Assets, Liabilities, and Networth for the past two (2) years

    Previous applicants who are applying for the above-mentioned position must inquire from the Secretariat about their lacking or out of date application documents and must submit them on or before the above-mentioned deadline for submission of requirements. Those who fail to comply with the requirements shall not be scheduled for interview nor considered for nomination. Likewise, let it be known that there are two more candidates for the position of Ombudsman, whose application or recommendation was timely filed, namely, (1) KALLOS, ROBERT E. and (2) MAMA-O, ABDULLAH D., who will be interviewed on 22 and 29 June 2011, respectively. As to the public interview of Judge PHILIP A. AGUINALDO, the same is reset from 22 to 27 June 2011. The public may submit to the JBC sworn complaint, report, or opposition (in ten legible copies) against the aforesaid two candidates not later than 23 June 2011 (Thursday). 10 June 2011.
